200 hours of TEFL training (3 weeks). Practical teaching includes practice sessions in local schools.

About us

We help students and young people work and learn in various cultures, thereby expanding their horizons and gaining invaluable experiences.

Workandtravelasia.org was established as a branch of Domago.hr, an agency specializing in cultural exchange programs in the USA for students and young, serving over 1400 satisfied clients over the past 7 years. This new branch was created in response to participants’ interest in cultural exchange and job opportunities in Asia.

The agency provides TEFL training and certification in Thailand and guarantees a job for each participant upon completion of the training. Most of our participants stay in Hat Yai, a small city with fewer than 150,000 residents in southern Thailand, but job opportunities are also available in other cities such as Bangkok.

Integral members of our team include Vlada and Adrijana, who have personally experienced this program and spent an unforgettable 4 years living and working in Thailand as part of it. Additionally, Om, our native Thai speaker, currently living and working in Croatia, shares her unique insights and tips for your stay and adaptation in Thailand on our blog.

After completing the training and obtaining the certificate, all participants will receive job offers from schools in Thailand and can independently choose where they will work and live.

Experience is NOT required

You do not need prior experience as a teacher or a completed university degree in English language. All the necessary skills for the job will be acquired during the training in Thailand.

Flexible program duration

Contracts with schools are usually for one year, but shorter terms are also possible, and the contract can be extended indefinitely by mutual agreement between the participant and the school at no additional cost from the agency!

Competitive salary

After securing a job at the school, participants receive a monthly salary ranging from 800 to 1000 euros, which is more than sufficient to cover living expenses in Thailand. Additionally, there is an opportunity for extra income through private English tutoring sessions.
